Winning Paid Leave for All Americans
The US is the only industrialized nation that has no federal paid family and medical leave policy. Paid Leave for the US (PL+US) is trying to change that by winning a paid leave policy for all Americans by 2022. The Berni Consulting team works with PL+US and its advocacy arm, +Action, to provide a variety of government relations, communications, and public affairs services. The team worked to elevate the organization and issue itself among key 2020 influencers in both parties, including key legislators, candidates and campaign operatives, and federal policy and political influencers. Berni Consulting designed and developed content for digital and printed assets, created social media, and performed member and candidate outreach in key states.
